Among celebrating the 10 year anniversary of GTA 3, Rockstar games has just released an incredibly detailed preview of their upcoming GTA 5. One of the things you might notice right away is the wide open spaces we are all familiar with. This time it seems they have gone above and beyond their usual vast worlds.
The protagonist, whose name we are yet to learn, seems rather normal. He even makes himself sound like an average guy wanting average things. Although at the end of the trailer, you get a hint that it is all a facade. Something he tells people, because he’s a hardcore criminal.
Personally, this seems like the beginning of a new era in open-world gaming. Grand Theft Auto and Rockstar games have proven themselves to be disruptive in the gaming industry. As we all know, over 10 years ago our lives were drastically changed by the release of GTA3. Why not expect something bigger with GTA5?
